Help me give my students the tools they need for success at school with social/emotional materials and sensory tools.

My Project

Students need skills. That is why we send child to school. This project will enable students to learn social skills, as well as finding ways to address their social and sensory needs. These materials will be used in my resource room, as well as in the classroom for students to generalize their new skills.

Strong sense of self can last forever.

Students recognizing their social and emotional needs and learning ways to address them is bigger than one morning meeting for some students. That’s where you come in. Supporting this project will give materials to learn from and practice in a small group and continue that practice in all parts of school.

All materials will help students. The dividers will allow students to focus on their tasks and feel safe within their defined space. The fidgets will allow focus and address their needs when they recognize the need. The books will be a great lesson on self-control and looking for solutions.
