Heading into middle school with no backpack or pencil is not a good way to start the year. The students I work with are low income and some are transient. With the constant movement of their families, some students struggle with keeping track of their school supplies. With your donation you will be able to help these scholars have a better opportunity to succeed in their academics.
Basic supplies are essential for my scholars.
The donation list I have created will help students learn how to become organized. The middle school team will be teaching the students how to organize their school work through the use of the 1.5 inch binders. They will also be shown how to use their pencil pouch since they seem to always need a pencil when they show up to school. Pencils are also part of the list because students need to have something to write with and we are hoping to give each student at least 2 pencils to start with at the beginning of the year.
