At our small, rural Title I school, every opportunity to engage students with hands-on learning makes a huge difference. With fewer than 400 students, we are a tight-knit community where resources are often limited, but the dreams of our students are limitless.
For the 2025–2026 school year, I am seeking funding for interactive notebooks for my math and science classes.
These notebooks will serve as personal learning journals where students can record investigations, create models, reflect on new concepts, and develop problem-solving skills. They will make learning more meaningful, organized, and accessible for every student.
Interactive notebooks help bridge the learning gap, especially in rural schools like ours where students often have fewer opportunities for enrichment outside the classroom. In math, students will build graphic organizers, work through multi-step problems, and create visual representations of key concepts. In science, they will document experiments, map out the scientific method, and model real-world phenomena.
Your support will allow my students to take ownership of their learning and see that science, math, and STEM are not only subjects but keys to building their futures. Every page they fill will be a step closer to a career in engineering, technology, medicine, research, and beyond.
Thank you for investing in the bright minds of our small community. Together, we can make STEM come alive!
