it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My kiddos live in a high-poverty area. My school is a Title I school. Every day is a struggle for some, more than others. Giving them the opportunity to do hands-on center rotations lets our tactile learners excel. My incoming littles are at different learning levels and need as much guidance as possible because COVID has been a terrible hindrance to their learning. Please help my littles get materials that will help them become proficient in technology.
Computers are useful and essential in this day and age.
Using other senses helps to differentiate for different types of learners. My goal for my classroom is to create a break from everyday book work and worksheets. When we do stations, they get so excited because we get to move around the room while learning.
My Project
An IPad is so versatile. It will be used as part of our reading and our math centers. My kids will be able to practice their spelling words. They will also be used for research for our projects.
The best part about an iPad is that it’s a break from book work which can be repetitive.
Learning through the use of technology sets up my kiddos for the future. Learning while playing on reading and math apps is a wonder for my littles. My students need different ways of learning the same thing to succeed. The joy of success is something wondrous to behold.
