You can help my students succeed on the AP Government exam with a 3 or higher!
I teach 12th grade AP Government in a public charter high school in Washington, D.C.
Every one of my students is African American, and 95% of my students live in Wards 7 and 8. Although this is a crime-ridden and poverty-stricken neighborhood of DC, my school is a beacon of hope to our students and their families.
My Project
We would love two academic bowl-style buzzer systems so my students can be reviewing throughout the year in preparation for the big test in May! Students will not only gain the skills and knowledge needed to be successful on the AP Government exam, but they will take ownership of their learning if they get to review in an interactive, fun way. A large part of being successful on the AP Government exam is to memorize lots of vocabulary and other facts. The buzzer system will make reviewing this trivia very exciting for the students!
My students are learning about government in the heart of the nation's capital -- but they need resources that will provide them with extra support and will increase their engagement level for a subject that is extraordinarily relevant to our lives!
You will help them be successful on the AP Government exam!
