Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I work in a Title I school and teach Intellectually Disabled and Autistic students (grades 10th-12th) that are enrolled in resource/CTE classes. These courses focus on basic academic skills in their core classes, independent living skills, organizational skills, and career related skills throughout the school day (Block Schedule). Despite their daily challenges, my students are excited and willing to learn. They enjoy hands-on activities and are eager to learn vocational skills that will potentially prepare them for work later in life.
The Epson Eco Tank and its accessories will provide my students the opportunity to gain vocational skills in the classroom in connection with the Cricut Maker.
