My Students
I am a special education teacher and this remote learning has been a challenge for all of us (students, parents etc.. ). Many of my students lacked technology access at home and received loaner I-Pads from the Department of Education. With the I-PADS it has opened up a new wave of modes of communication and assignment production. Many of my students have fine motor issues and with adjusting to written work on an I-PAD is new. It would be so beneficial if students could use a stylus pen to help write information and complete assignments more easily with this small tool.
My Project
Remote Learning has created huge challenges and adjustments for my special education students. Through donated I-PADS from the Department of Education, my students have been given an opportunity to learn remotely. But this still comes with challenges of learning how to navigate on the I-PAD.
One challenge is navigating and completing task on the screen of the I-PAD.
Many of my students have fine motor deficits and would greatly benefit from a stylus pen. This small tool will alleviate frustration from student's worrying about the way their work is presented and want to continue doing their best from home.
