This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We are in need of an update to our classroom library. The books we have are older and the students' tastes have changed over time. We are asking for new books to add to engage students in independent reading. We are also asking for baskets to organize their Chromebooks by table. Our current organization system gets confusing, and baskets would be easier for all students. We are often having to have indoor recess in the winter because of snow, sleet, and rain. These indoor recess games will let the students have time away from screens while still enjoying themselves.
