Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students love snack time ,and I love providing them with healthy snacks to eat.
My students are hard at work throughout the day and snack time is a great time for them to eat, socialize and recharge.
They learn social skills and social norms regarding eating with others during snack time. By giving each one of them a reusable water cup it encourages them to drink water instead of sugary juice throughout the day.
They can also reenact eating times during dramatic play. It is an opportunity to play out different scenarios with dolls.
