This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My wonderful students are 5th graders at a Title I school in Homestead, Florida. Many students are underprivileged and families are unable to provide the basic supplies their child needs in order to succeed.

Our students really struggle with reading, and being a lover of books, I want to instill a love for reading in my students through novel studies.

I am hoping to get class sets of novels to use throughout the year! Thank you so much for your time and generosity!

My Project

Study.com is an incredible online resource for students and teachers. It benefits everyone in the classroom! There are quizzes, teacher plans and resources, as well as the neatest videos! They are fun and engaging for students of all ages, and more importantly, they really help students learn!

A year subscription to study.com would be so great.

It is somewhat expensive and as a teacher I cannot afford it on my own. Thank you so much for your time and consideration. I really and truly appreciate all of your amazing generosity.
