This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students come from a low income area (family income is less than 42,000) a year. Basic school supplies can be a struggle for some of these students. I am asking for 3 Subject Notebooks, so students can glue ( and keep) their work for the trimester. In more than one case, some of these students face homelessness throughout the year. I am looking forward to provide all of my students with the resources to become successful out of their neighborhood.
My Project
Each lesson students are required to write their notes in their notebooks. I'm requesting new 3-subject notebooks which will be used as interactive notebook. These students will be able to use their notes and homework for their test. This motivates them to be engaged in their notes and complete their homework. They are encouraged to keep these notebooks for the next grade as resource. Lastly, these notebooks helps them become organize, since they are required keep everything needed for math in this notebook.
