How do we prepare our kids for the future? We need to educate them about the world around them because they will be the ones leading our world in years to come.

I have a variety of student reading abilities and they are all coming from a variety of cultural backgrounds and socio-economic statuses. My school and classroom is a place that encourages students to think critically and be problem solvers without the fear of taking a risk and making a mistake.

My Project

Studies Weekly is a publishing company that makes consumable resources to support teachers and students in Science and Social Studies.

My students LOVE learning about US History in 5th grade.

Studies Weekly produces a newspaper formatted material for students to use as well as an in depth virtual component that students can use in class or from home virtually. There are many videos, projects, virtual field trips, and other additional resources that come with this subscription.

Students will be able to use these resources to support their reading and writing skills as well. They allow for easy cross-curricular integration as well as technology support and relevance for kids!
