Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Studies Weekly is a social studies magazine! What I love about these magazines is that they're colorful and direct, which keeps students engaged in the short amount of time that we have to learn multiple subjects, including social studies. Students will have a paper printed copy as well as access to an online copy, which is also extremely happy since many students are still learning organizational skills, which involves keeping items in a safe place. If students interest are piqued, then students have the option to read ahead on the online platform. What teacher is going to say no to reading?!
