Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students often come from challenging situations where they often come to school without enough nutriton. My students have worked hard these last two semesters on college applications, creating resumes, learning how to fill out job applications, understanding their options after high school. Also, several of the students are working very hard in on campus and off campus paid internships. I would like to always have snacks around for my students so they can have the energy to continue to push on through lessons and work. LHS values the community donations. We are grateful for anything you can give. Thank you so much!
