My Project
The use of the carpet for our meeting area, the bean bags, printer, desk, and pouches is almost a daily activity in my classroom, especially in social studies. Using the workshop model in social studies allows students to come to the carpet area and discuss using turn and talk techniques. The teachers desk allows me to use it as a writing area for students and also attain accessible items that ares student friendly. The use of the pouches allow students to use materials over that would otherwise. have to be copied over which can create havoc when having to put in a request for copies with the already heavy request load.
The bean bags are for the use of students who want to have space and be a little more comfortable during learning time.
The printer allows for easy access for students who can have on demand printouts that fit their learning needs on the spot. All of the materials mentioned are vital to this classroom.
