This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Throughout the school year, I too, have struggled, learned, and persevered with my students. After nearing my first year of teaching in the classroom, I begin to understand why teachers always find it hard to say bye to their students/"kids" at the end of the school year.
Just like all humans, students cannot learn on empty stomachs.
I have been buying snacks throughout the entire semester and sharing them with students. Although I will continue to purchase snacks to share, I am also asking for donations to alleviate the personal cost.
