This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My student's are diagnosed with autism and face challenges brought on by this diagnosis each day. They come from low income areas. They are very unique and always strive to do their best. They are always seeking help and strive each day to learn something new. They need constant reinforcement and motivation. They love interactive toys and games and love to explore new things. They struggle with communication, academics, and regulating their bodies. They love movement and routines. Everyday, they come in with a smile, ready to learn new things. They love to be in school with familiar loving faces.
My Project
Our students need reinforcers such as edibles, games, fidgets and toys to reinforce learning, positive behavior and help keep them engaged in learning. Our students struggle everyday to concentrate on the task at hand as motivation needs to be in place in order for them to learn to the best of their ability. Each day we try to find new interests and activities to help keep them motivated. We love to introduce them to new things each day to help them strive to do their best. Your donation will be greatly appreciated by our school, staff and most importantly our amazing students.
