This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Help me get these kids rockin' in band. My students want to experience progress and want a cozy band room they can call home. A place to practice and make those incredible music memories we've all experienced in our childhood band rooms.
My students are resilient adapting to the pandemic but, specifically, they need resources that will elevate their rehearsal and concert experience to improve their social and emotional well-being.
They deserve a special classroom atmosphere that will energize and comfort them and allow them to express themselves. Help me show my students they deserve the best experience possible!
My Project
My students want to learn how to play jazz in Band. This beginning jazz method book is suited for small to large bands. The exercises are short and easy for students and jazz solos are written out too. As a result, students will have immediate success using this jazz curriculum and learn a ton of jazz history too.
With your donation, my students will be the pioneers to start a jazz program at my school and perform for our school community using these jazz method books.
