Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our middle school students are at an age where they are starting to become more responsible and independent, specially when it comes to their academic performance. Help our students be successful in their classes by ensuring that they have the correct materials needed for all their academic and elective classes. Our students use folder and notebooks in all of their classes so the notebooks and folders in this project would benefit students in need of those materials. We work with a lot of multi lingual students and the notebooks ordered in this project are used in their ESL classes to practice writing in English. Help our students be prepared and stay engaged throughout the school year. Our middle school students are also hungry very often and the snacks that have been listed in this project would ensure that our students are eating and getting some substance so that they can have energy and focus on their school work throughout the day. The snacks will also help our students make healthy choices and learn more about nutritional valued of their individual snacks. This project will help our 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students focus on making sure they have a growth mindset in their classes, they are respectful to everyone, work with integrity, and demonstrate the importance of teamwork!
