There is a nationwide campaign to have middle school students see the malala movie. This is sponsored by a national organization.
We are a title one school and my students live in a high risk neighborhood in the Baltimore City Limits.
They enjoy school and sports and are active in their community. Our school ranges from grades prek-8th grade.
My Project
Due to the nationwide campaign to expose students to the Malala's story, there is a nationwide campaign to have middle school students see the documentary, He NAMED ME MALALA. This will benefit my students by allowing them to understand another culture and part of the world and the value of education in places outside of the US.
This project will improve the lives of our students simply by offering them exposure to a world outside of their own.
When life is difficult in your immediate reality, it is sometimes hard to look outward and understand lives of others.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
