Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Our school is filled with bright and talented individuals. It is a diverse and multi-cultural school that offers a bilingual program as well as being a silver medal STEAM school.
Our students are from a low socioeconomic area with many immigrants families.
We work tirelessly to not only ensure all our students learn and grow every day while creating a social culture that puts education first. Creating a positive atmosphere with a strong push towards project based learning that will lead to more creativity and learning.
My Project
My class is excited by the possibility of incorporating more technology in our classroom! We are full of learners excited about STEAM and using technology. We do many projects in and outside of the classroom including growing plants. The students would be able to go outside with laptops to record information. They love technology and have shown gains in the reading and math computer programs offered by our school.
These laptops will make a difference by adding a mobile technology component allowing students to explore technology anywhere their projects take them.
These laptops will open a world of opportunities in and outside the classroom with your generous collaboration because they deserve the opportunity to have some hands-on technology.
