“Students Serving Students: Care Bags for Our Community”

My Project

At our school, we believe in empowering students to be changemakers — not just in the classroom, but in the community. This student-led initiative will allow our students to take action by assembling and distributing personal care bags filled with hygiene essentials for those in need right here in our school community.

Many students face challenges beyond academics — including access to basic hygiene products.

Our students have noticed this need and are stepping up to support their peers with compassion, leadership, and teamwork.

Through this project, students will:

Design and assemble care bags with these products.

Discreetly distribute bags to students who may benefit.

Reflect on the importance of service and leadership

This project not only meets a critical need in our school, but it also gives our students the opportunity to lead a service initiative with empathy, responsibility, and purpose.

What We Need:

Hygiene products (travel-size deodorant, soap.)

Dental kits (toothbrushes, toothpaste, floss)

Feminine hygiene supplies

Gallon-size zip bags or small drawstring bags for assembly
