My Students
My students are very excited to learn! They are enthusiastic and like being active. We sing lots of silly songs and do the dab and the floss.
They are tech-savvy, teaching me almost as much as I teach them!
They are learning valuable skills for the twenty-first century. My students will work in fields that don't even exist yet.
I love coming to school each day to be with my students. They have a joy in life and learning that I try to cultivate in myself as their teacher.
My Project
Technology is part of our lives now. Many parents and educators worry about the affect this technology has on our children, but there is no going back. There is only going forward. Since technology is part of our lives now, we need to prepare students for the future, and that includes responsible use of technology.
Each week, we devote time to educational websites like Lexia and ImagineMath, that meet students where they are and gives them individualized learning.
These websites need headphones, but not all parents are able to provide them. Help my students succeed by providing headphones so all students can use these great programs.
