My Project
I have so many students that ask for food on a daily basis. I have sustained them for a while, buying my own snacks for students, but am at a point where the need is greater than my ability to provide. I am also consistently asked for pencils, which are a foundational school supply. Unfortunately, there is a shortage of both access to food and school supplies within our schools. I'm hopeful a donation of Slim Jim snacks, Pop-Tarts Bites, fruit snacks, other snacks and pencils will help support student learning by addressing essential needs. Our students deserve to feel as if their basic needs are met, so they are truly able to focus on learning.
