My Students

There is an amazing new digital world that begs to be explored with the iPad Mini.

I teach 7th/8th grade students at a public charter school in Utah.

I teach students of all abilities from students with special needs to very gifted students. My students love to be active and engaged in the learning process in my technology classes. My 7th grade and 8th grade curriculum deals with many types of technology from media and communications to engineering and manufacturing technology.

My Project

Hand-held mobile devices are the future of our youth. Students need to be guided in this new world to maximize the power of the endless applications for education. In my Technology classroom we want to explore engineering and physics simulations, calculation, marketing, film editing, and music creation apps. We want to film and edit right from the iPad Mini as well. The sky is really the limit of what we can do. They can become great citizens in this digital realm by learning the proper ways to use this new-found power for good by building a strong moral and educational foundation for our world.

Through the use of the iPad Mini, my students can be prepared for the incredible influx of information that is now available in mobile devices.

They can learn how to be valuable citizens in our digital world.
