Help me give my students these bins to store games for the PBIS room
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Ringo's classroom raised $236
This project is fully funded
My Students
Our students come from impoverished neighborhoods, the entire population are eligible for free lunch, and many lack basic “success” tools. What makes them so resilient is they come to school with the desire to get educated the best way they know how. Students who display positive behavior should be celebrated. I am in the process of creating a positive behavior room where students can play games, earn incentives, and hang out with other peers who display positive attributes. Classroom management has become an issue across the board for many educators, but giving kids an incentive to help adjust their behavior for a conducive environment.
My Project
These bins will hold games and resources in the positive behavior room where they will get a chance to relax when positive behavior is displayed consistently. Students will be able to earn time out of the classroom to take a mental break. Students will learn how to build positive relationships with other students while working on projects, playing competitive games, and developing strategies for conflict resolution in and out of the classroom. The students will have a place to call their own, but they know that the entry is through positive behavior. When students are able to get rewarded for their behavior there is a greater chance that they will be consistent in their positive actions
More than three‑quarters of students from low‑income households
