My Students
Students at D. are local residents of the Brooklyn, New York, and they show high academic achievement.
Unfortunately, as a public school our students still face academic challenges but could be resolved with more equitable funding.
For instance, many classrooms have class sizes of 34 students, and it is difficult for each student to receive 1 on 1 attention; it easy for them to get lost in the High School shuffle.
As a class, we wish to have instant printing of resources in the classroom, so we are hoping to have a printer and ink for our class.
My Project
Students will have easy access to print during Living Environment. This will improve their mobility to print out documents. The class plans to do a lot of presentations and it would benefit a lot if they were able to print in my classroom as opposed to walking all the way to the computer lab.
By saving time I can maximize instructional time while students can print their resources.
Additionally, they can each print out a study guide for Living Environment. The study guide will be useful for preparation for the New York state regent exam they take in the month of June.
