My students are nonverbal and autistic. They require a lot of sensory feedback throughout the day. They struggle with gross motor skills and crossing the mid line using both arms and both legs. Oftentimes they want to just use one arm or hand to complete a task.
These sensory and gross motor items would help them grow their coordination and sensory regulation needs.
They would require them to use all of their limbs simultaneously.
We are trying to improve our sensory room and provide more stimulating and gross motor activities through these toys and games requested.
This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
