My Students
As of right now, we are working with just Composition notebooks. Papers are everywhere, but we like to describe our classroom as organized chaos. It might look like a mess, but we know where everything is.
My students like to "do" instead of watch from the sidelines.
Our school is part of a beautiful and small community that is unfortunately located in an underserved area that is low on resources that could help supplement and expose students to the rest of the world. While we can make it happen, it is definitely not without help from others outside of the community.
My Project
I am asking for 45 heavy-duty binder in order to keep our classrooms organized. With the addition of these binders, my students will be able to keep track of the work they have completed and/or missed. Having these binders will teach my students about organization. they will learn to hold themselves accountable for the work they are responsible for.
This project will help keep my classroom and classes organized.
The risk of losing assignments will be lowered. While I am asking for just binders, this simple object will teach my students about accountability and responsibility which are real life skills they need to have in order to succeed.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
