My students are a wonderful group of bright, hard-working and inquisitive kids who truly enjoy using technology and online resources on a daily basis in our classroom. Students are realizing that more and more careers of the future are going to require them to be savvy with technology and they ask to use the chromebooks all the time. However, I do not have a class set of them in my classroom.
Therefore, my students want access to chromebooks on a daily basis to help them to be able to research information as needed, learn concepts via interactive online tools, in addition to ceating and completing alternative assessments.
My Project
Students enjoy having access to Chromebooks on a daily basis. Students know that future jobs will require them to be technology savvy and the more they have access to technology, the more opportunities they will have to develop these skills. Sometimes students are unaware of the possibilities that technology can provide them and the more they use it, the more they will have access to this information.
Students love to create problem-solving solutions and project-based assessments using Chromebooks.
Daily access to chromebooks allows students to research and learn information in new and exciting ways! Sometimes students will propose a variation on an assignment because they have researched and explored information on their own.
