This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students love to give their ideas about what books we should stock! Supplying books of the genres they request help them feel they have a voice in our classroom, as well as ensure we have books they're interested in on the shelves to choose from.

Resupply our classroom library shelves with the genres they requested: spooky, mystery, and comedy!

These are the genres most requested by students every month when it's time to choose new independent reading books. They're the books they're most excited to tell their friends about and the books they help them engage with reading.
