My students have been provided with a Mimio board to use in our classroom, but no computer to run it from. A laptop computer, wireless mouse, and a set of speakers are necessary to support the technology we have already been blessed with.

I am a sixth grade Math teacher in Mississippi. I have been researching the advantages of using technology in the Math classroom, and what I have found fascinates me! Students NEED, not want, more technology in their classes. Let's face it; the math classrooms WE learned in are a part of the past!
Help us support technology we have received! Here in Mississippi, technology is needed to keep our students up to par with national standards. My students are ready to use technology in our Math class! They love producing power points and videos to share!
We already have the complicated materials, the Mimio board and the necessary accessories, but now we need a computer! We have no technology to support the gift of a mimio in our classroom! We need a laptop and wireless mouse to employ our mimio board (that has been sitting in a box since mid-August)! As soon as we get the computer and mouse, we will be showing videos, graphs, maps, and virtual manipulatives to enhance the math objectives my students are required to learn.
Your assistance will finally get this Mimio Board out of the box and on the wall, where it belongs! My students will be able to work, take notes, and display projects in ways they never have before! Your help will empower my students to make learning math in a technologically advanced classroom a reality!
