My Students
My students are creative, thoughtful, and full of questions! They absolutely love hands-on, active, engaging projects, and challenges that allow them to think outside the box to find solutions! They come to school each day to try new things and take brave chances to grow both personally and academically. Indeed, they are my inspiration.
Many of the students at our school have had traumatic experiences in their short lives.
Our school is nestled in the heart of Southern Utah, surrounded by National parks visited by people from all over the world. History is alive in Southern Utah
I have found that stories help them empathize and find ways to cope with their own experiences. It is my goal to provide them with a safe and happy place to learn and grow together.
With the recent pandemic, I want to make sure my students are safe and happy. I need more supplies to help my students.
My Project
The materials will make a difference in my students' learning! They will make a difference because these are stories that the students love. The stories help students to make connections. Having a book to follow along with will help the students' reading comprehension. Being able to hear and see the words makes a huge difference for kiddos! I also love that it allows struggling readers to read an on grade level book.
