Students Learning to Grow Their Favorite Foods with Passion

Help me give my students the opportunity to grow their favorite fruits and vegetables in their greenhouses using indoor grow lights.

My Project

The purpose of the garden will serve as an educational tool to teach students about the process of growing food, promote healthy eating habits, foster environmental stewardship, and provide hands-on learning experiences by connecting classroom curriculum with practical gardening activities across subjects like science, math, and nutrition; essentially allowing students to learn about nature and responsibility through active participation in growing plants.

It will also improve academic performance in our scholars, be a stress reliever for them and even lower kids’ anxiety, depression and help with social emotional learning.

I would love to help provide our scholars at our elementary and our Community with the experience of gardening and help show them the benefits of what it means to go green!
