This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As the cold winter season is approaching students need warm clothes to wear to keep them dry and healthy. Unfortunately, I have noticed with the changing weather that many of my students come to school with clothes that are too small and not for the colder weather. Many of them tell me that they do not have mittens or scarves at home. With these supplies I will be able to provide mittens, beanies, and socks to many low income families in my class.

As a teacher, I would like to provide my students with the basic necessities that are needed for them to be warm, comfortable, and confident.
