My Students

Do you remember the first time you took a picture with a digital camera? Imagine that excitement in the eyes of a 2nd grader! We are in need of a digital camera to meet our everyday needs of utilizing technology in the classroom and using the photos to add to our Science notebooks.

My students are in a high poverty area.

Many of my students lack the basic opportunities to experience technology first hand. My hope is to continue to introduce them to as many medias as I can. My students work really hard on Science notebooking and I would love to be able to add photos to those notebooks whenever needed. The addition of photos will make their Science journals more engaging.

My Project

I am asking for a Kodak Easy Share Digital Camera. This is a much needed item to help introduce my students to additional technology they can use in all curricular areas with a main focus on Science and our Science notebooking process. I am asking for an Easy Share Camera so I can easily print photos immediately at school with an Easy Share printer.

This project will service my children in many different ways.

It will give them opportunities they might not have otherwise. This camera will be introduced to them to bring technology into the classroom. We will use some of the photos in our Science notebooks. I will also add these photos to other curriculum.
