This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
T-shirt, sweatpants, leggings, and underwear will help my students when they need spare clothes due to a spill, bathroom accident, or that time of the month. Some families are going through hard times and are not able to provide clean clothes due to current living conditions. Having a spare pair of pants, shirts and a place to store them in school can reduce the shame or embarrassment that the child may already feel. It will help relieve their anxiety, which can make their problem worse. These items will be used on an as-needed basis.
