My Project
Many students rely on the food they receive from the school cafeteria or from the weekend food bags. As the year comes to an end, we can continue to meet their needs. The students can read books as they snack this summer. They can engage in learning activities in the community with a full belly.
The goals for the project include: alleviating fear of hunger, bringing peace of mind while students participate in community activities, and reminding them that their teachers care about their health, even when they are not in the building.
My students are special to me, because of who they are and the smiles they bring to those around them.
