This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Greetings! I am a K-5th Music Teacher requesting assistance with materials/resources for my 2nd year of teaching these lovely students! I teach approximately 475+ students on my campus. After teaching them last year, I have concluded that my students desperately need new materials since I found all the materials I needed are either used up, not available, or in not-so-great shape. I found myself doing minimal projects with them because of the availability of school supplies. My goal is for them to do more independent work so I can feature their work in my room, open house, events, and so they can take it home to show their families! Students learn best when they get to do more hands-on assignments! I provided folders as a part of my project simply so I can organize their tasks neatly and tidily. I am using the collapsible fabric cubes to store Recorders for my 5th-grade classes! I included popsicles and buckets so I can write all the names of my students and keep track of my music activities and it is also for classroom management. I included some posters since my room was mostly empty. I included resources (2 books) that I believe would benefit me professionally and also provide quality and beneficial instruction to my students!
The students mean so much to me, so I will try my best to give them the best experience ever!
