Students Can See What I See...With A Document Camera
Help me give my students access to a document camera so that remote teaching can best provide them with an interactive learning experience.

My Students
My school is filled with children who express a love for learning and who are full of life and energy. I teach in an ICT setting a group of amazing students who work hard each day to reach their fullest potential. Our students truly feel they are part of a family in which everyone feels accepted and individuality is encouraged. I am constantly trying to find meaningful ways to push them and help them become better learners. My children love their neighborhood school because it creates a sense of community. We try to make our learning as engaging as possible through hands-on, interactive activities to keep them as involved as possible. We are hopeful that the possibility of integrating more technology-based learning becomes a reality in our virtual classroom.
My Project
A document camera will allow for my students to see live teaching during distance learning. This will allow for my students with visual impairments to see the documents zoomed in. It will also allow for more live interaction and modeling for my students. Being able to teach using a document camera is a great asset because it allows my students to engage in the lesson.
Having a document camera will allow my students to feel as if they are in the classroom setting from the distance.
This will help many of my students, to have visual aids for them to follow along. A document camera will be a great addition for our virtual classroom to provide my students and their families with as much support and visual aids as I could provide.
