My Students

My students strive for excellence. They are not only students, they are teachers in the classroom.

My students are extremely driven to excel in the classroom.

They are willing to demonstrate their writing, math, and reading skills to their peers. My students are very willing to share their successes and their mistakes in order for all of us to learn.

My Project

As learners, my students find a lesson in everything they do. In my classroom the children will become more actively engaged when they are able to share their reading, writing, and math knowledge with their peers. With the use of this document camera my children will be able to share their mistakes with the class, turning the children into teachers. The class will be able to determine mistakes and become the teacher. When a student is able to change roles and become the teacher it is where the greatest learning experiences take place.

Having a document camera in the classroom will eliminate the need for copies.

The students will become more actively engaged through real examples of work by their peers. Less time will be spent watching children recopy their work on the board, giving more time for authentic learning experiences.
