Students Are Publishing Biography Books About Themselves
Help me give my students the balance ball seats. I teach reading to students with social and emotional challenges in 6-8 grades. These seats are excellent for building confidence and stability.

My Project
This year my students are constructing their very own biography book. The books will be published for them to keep. The balancing balls are a part of my lesson which teaches students how they can learn balance their studies through motion on the balance ball. The motion helps them clear their thoughts for writing.
The balancing balls will help students with concentration so they can work through their biography independently.
I have a balancing ball, and the students love to sit on the ball and conversate with me and the class. I have noticed the students who sit on the balancing ball are more engaged and alert in class. The balancing balls would be a added benefit for my students cognitive thinking skills. The ball gives students mental stimulation and fosters learning growth. Students are learning how to carry on two functions at the same time. This encourages simultaneous work ethics in class. These seats are truly a student growth instrument.
