Help me give my students an opportunity to display their artistic and creativity abilities.
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Hester's classroom raised $227
This project is fully funded
My Students
My school is a Title I school in Byron, Ga. Many students come from low-income families and face impoverished living conditions. Many others come from families who do not speak English. Despite all of the hardships they have experienced in their young lives, our students come to school with smiles on their faces and are ready to learn each and every day.
My Project
Our school currently does not have art as a class. Daily we see all of the amazing talents that our students display through activities in their classroom. Having a button making in the media center will provide our students with an opportunity to display even more of the creativity abilities.
This will also help get our students thinking creatively and help them realize the idea that they can just print off an image from the Internet and make it into a button is not the only way to do things.
More than three‑quarters of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
