Help me give my students some new non-fiction books in two of our high interest areas, sharks and dinosaurs.

My Students
The students in our school are devouring our non-fiction books. Not literally eating them, but it seems that they can't get enough information. We have about 600 students and just as many different interests.
I love to hear about their many passions and wish that I could have books to satisfy each students desire to discover and learn.
Our students are curious and ready to explore space, animals, people and anything else they can get their hands on.
Some of the books that we currently have in our library are as old as the school, which was built in 1996. Books that will withstand use in an elementary school library can average as much as twenty dollars each. With a budget of less than one dollar per student it is very hard to purchase new books in the many areas of interest to our students.
My Project
Our students are looking for more books to explore and discover new information. Some of our non-fiction books are very old and we have very limited selection in some of our high interest areas. I am focusing on Sharks and Dinosaurs because they appeal to students at all levels, and our library does not have a large selection in either area. Newer non-fiction books tend to have bolder pictures and text that is broken down into smaller sections so it doesn't overwhelm the struggling readers.
By donating to our project you will be helping to put more information into students hands, helping to satisfy their desire to learn.
