Help me give my students get a laser cutter to create projects and prototypes that help them express their thoughts and feeling using their creativity.
Coming back to school, our students were meet with COVID protocols and physical distancing. The had endured almost 2 years of online and blended learning which changed how they looked at learning. Students of today want to be heard, want to have voice, and want to make an impact on their community.
In innovation class students engage in project based lessons using human centered design processes and the engineering design process.
Students are given choice in how they create and present their thoughts and ideas and often come to the innovation lab to develop prototypes for core classes. Having a laser cutter will allow our students to use their learning to express themselves, their thoughts and feeling using different materials and mediums.
