This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My amazing and energetic kindergarten students work really hard. I want to celebrate my students' learning efforts by gifting them school spirit t-shirts when they master a goal or when they move on to the next grade level.
The materials purchased will be used to create custom school spirit t-shirts for every student in my classroom.
The t-shirts will acknowledge my students' hard work, efforts, and dedication to learning and their promotion to the next grade level. I chose red T-shirts, as that is one of our school colors. I will create these shirts and present them to students as they master a goal or show growth on a learning target. By the end of the school year, all students will have received a shirt. My students will wear these custom t-shirts for our weekly school spirit assemblies, field day, and at our end-of-the-year school assembly.
