Student Supplies Need To Be Organized!

Help me give my students a way to stay organized and have a place to store their supplies.

My Students

I teach at a Title I school that is one of the most diverse schools in the area. The students come from hard-working families and are absolutely amazing.

My students are active and eager to learn.

They prefer to sit around the room versus at their desk. I have found that they are happier and more engaged when they are comfortable and when they have choices on where to sit. Our classroom, like many others, lacks one thing...places to store stuff!! Kids have so many more supplies to bring to a school than they used to and our room just doesn’t have as much storage space as it should keep us all tidy and organized. We really will need to have extra storage.

My Project

My students love to sit around the room to work. They love all of the flexible seating that our room has to offer but they need places to keep their supplies organized.

Teaching my students to be prepared and organized is a skill they will use throughout their entire lives.

Giving them places in the room to keep their supplies together will help ensure they always have everything ready to help them complete assignments and projects. It will be great to start a lesson where no one is looking for a pencil, expo, or eraser.
