This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are a truly diverse population in a truly integrated school where just over half are low-income and just under half are middle-income. Students who are Native American, African American, Latino, Asian American, and European American make up our population, as well as students who were born abroad or with parents who are immigrants from such diverse homelands as Japan, China, Laos, Nepal, India, Yemen, Palestine, Egypt, Turkey, Germany, Spain, Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Jamaica, Brazil, Argentina, and Chile.

Despite the differences between students and cultures, they come together under the values of courage, compassion, curiosity, integrity, respect, and responsibility to push for the self-success and community success with the motto "Leave no dragon behind!"

My Project

My illustrious students seek basic tools for success in online, self-directed, personalized learning. Extension cords for each outlet in the classroom and multi-plug outlets will allow all students to charge their laptops to keep on learning all throughout the day.

Crucial to the balance between physical and digital learning are having notebooks to take notes from digitized resources and folders to put printed digital materials.

With your generous donations of classroom materials, my students will be equipped with the proper tools to excel in personalized learning that links physical and online learning together toward greater student outcomes of academic success.
