My Students
Kindergarten is such a delightful time and often a child’s first experience with school.
We are a Title I school made up of a diverse student population and the students are amazing in so many ways.
I still crack up at the time we we rushing to get to special area and a student asked to use the bathroom. I told him to “hop to it” so we wouldn’t be late and he literally hopped all the way to the bathroom.
My Project
Each student now needs their own set of magnetic letters to identify letter names, match beginning sounds, sound out words and make words! More center items are needed due to sharing and cleaning guidelines. These CVC centers will allow students to be engaged in learning while having fun.
The Seat pockets will allow each students workbooks and journals to be readily available to them at their seat!
The cushions will give them the opportunity to work in their own space. All these items will help students be engaged in learning.
