Student Success Center

Please help me by giving my students a dedicated wellness room to manage stress, regulate emotions, and build social-emotional skills. The calming space will have manipulatives, building blocks, soft lighting, weighted blankets, and other therapeutic tools.

My Project

The wellness room will be a supportive retreat for students who need a break to reset and refocus during the school day. With the addition of sensory manipulatives, building blocks, calming lights, and weighted blankets, students can choose the tools that best help them manage their emotions and reduce anxiety. Staff will guide students in using these items to practice calming strategies, develop self-awareness, and build coping skills. The flexible space will be available for short breaks, small group sessions, or individual support, creating a nurturing environment where all students can thrive emotionally and socially.
